Who: Tony Stark, OTA
What: Armor Test, this should go well
Where: The park for now
When: 11/7 afternoon


Tony had the feeling this wasn't going to go well. Stark Tech tests rarely did,, but that is why he took the armor to the park instead of testing it elsewhere. At least here someone could see him if he crashed. He sighed as he flexed his arms and legs and heard the wine and hiss of the servos. "Well at least the main parts work," he muttered to himself as he moved to the center of the park and took a deep breath. "No time like the present to break the streak."


He took a deep breath and counted to three before firing up the boots and very quickly crashed back down to the ground. "Okay that was embarrassing."

It was difficult for Steve to watch Tony struggle with the suit, especially knowing what he had done to it. Still, he didn't know if his company would be welcome. He sat on a bench sketching Tony, glancing up every so often to make sure he wouldn't fall too far.

He fell, and Steve stood, walking over, the sketch visible, or mostly. It was a Sketch of Tony in the full armor, face plate up, smiling. This is what Steve wanted to remember.

Tony spots Steve quickly and for a split second he considers getting up and moving away. He's still angry, still hurt and he doesn't know how to handle that. Then he spots the drawing and his heart twists in his chest. Is that how Steve still sees him? That smiling, happy man that Tony seems to have forgotten. He sits up and studies his teammate. "Cap," he says, "coming to check on the team screw up?"

His tone was light but the undercurrent of bitterness would have been clear.
