Who: Tony Stark, OTA
What: Armor Test, this should go well
Where: The park for now
When: 11/7 afternoon

Tony had the feeling this wasn't going to go well. Stark Tech tests rarely did,, but that is why he took the armor to the park instead of testing it elsewhere. At least here someone could see him if he crashed. He sighed as he flexed his arms and legs and heard the wine and hiss of the servos. "Well at least the main parts work," he muttered to himself as he moved to the center of the park and took a deep breath. "No time like the present to break the streak."

He took a deep breath and counted to three before firing up the boots and very quickly crashed back down to the ground. "Okay that was embarrassing."

Bucky hadn't seen Tony yet during his stay here. He didn't even know if Tony knew he was there, but that was probably for the better. Considering how things had gone the last time Bucky'd seen him, he would have given Tony space anyway. Bucky didn't think there was much, if anything, he could do to make things better, but he didn't want or expect Tony to forgive him. How could he when Bucky still hadn't forgiven himself for all of the things Hydra had made him do?

He kept his distance even when he approached, giving Tony a wide berth for both of their comfort. His shoulders were tense but he was trying to keep his hands loose and relaxed. It was a difficult balance. "Looks like you're having some bad luck."

"I heard you were good at that," Bucky said. "Working with limited resources." Not having things go sideways. Which, one could argue, Tony was also good at. He wanted to ask how Tony had been doing, if he was alright, but Bucky was pretty sure he already knew the answer. It was hard to be honestly alright after what had happened.

"I guess he is." He hadn't talked to Steve much since getting there, though. But he knew Steve was alive and alright, and that was good enough. "You-..." he hesitated. "-you made it out okay?" Out of Siberia. He didn't know how or if the fight had ended, but Tony was here and Bucky hoped that meant things were okay.

He didn't think Tony would have died out there. However the fight ended, Bucky was sure Steve would have at least told someone where Tony was, just to be safe. But he didn't know that for sure.

"I'm-- I'm glad you're alright," he said. "I never wanted to hurt you." Whether Tony believed that or not, it was true.

"Howard was my friend." Bucky would never have hurt him if he'd been in his right mind, if he'd actually been in control of anything. Howard had recognized him, after all those years. Had HYDRA known he would? Was that why they'd sent Bucky and not some other agent? "You didn't deserve to find out the way you did." There was no way anyone 'deserved' to find out how their loved ones died. "Why Steve?"
