A text message will be sent to the phones of all new arrivals in HQ at 2am on the 2nd. The text message contains the following:

"Greetings new arrivals! I'm certain all of you have dozens of questions and I'd very much like to answer them. If you would humor me, please meet me tomorrow evening at 9pm in the Cafeteria. It isn't the best location for a disclosure meeting, but I believe we all may fit. Until then, have a good evening."

When everyone arrives to the cafeteria that night, they will find people who may or may not be familiar seated a table along the far wall near the bar. Luther, Nathan, Gus, and Airy are all present, as well as three faces they have yet to see. At the head of the table, an older man with a noble bearing and friendly smile watches as the new arrivals shuffle in. To his right is a striking woman who seems to be watching people arrive with an air of annoyance, and a younger man to his left who rarely looks up from the sketchbook in front of him.

[Grace nods her head. Her father had taken in most of her clothes.]

So it'll just take you time to find them and bring them here? What should we do here? If we can't go home?

[He nods again.]

You're a very smart young lady, and I'm glad to meet you. As to what you should do, that's largely up to you. There's a playroom, if you'd like to meet others your age, or help take care of the young ones. I could use a responsible and sharp girl like you.

[He smiles.]

If you feel up to the task, that is.

[Grace smiles up at him.]

My name is Grace. I'm glad to meet you as well. [She introduces herself and does a small curtsy with her dress.]I've always wanted a younger brother or sister.

[She's taken care of her stuffed animals though she'll be happy to help out with children younger than her. She's used to having a lot of responsibilities and chores around the house.]

Would it really be alright if I helped.

Such a fitting name for such a beautiful girl. [He stands, returning her curtsy with a bow.] Well, there are many children here who've lost theirs, or their parents. I'm certain they'd welcome the company, and I'd trust them to no other.

[Grace smiles at the compliment.]

I'd be honored.

[She really is happy to hear that she can help. It's the first time that she's been given her own responsibility instead of being protected or sheltered by others. She can do more than people give her credit for.]

Can I ask another question?

[Grace waits for a nod or some inclination that she has permission to ask before gathering the words together.]

How long have you lived down here?

So polite. It's so rare in youths these days.

[He smiles.]

Here? In Headquarters? Oh, it's been 40 years or so now. Why do you ask?

Thank you. Before I was here I was living with a nice family. I always try to be polite when someone's taking care of me and you've been doing that for us too right?

[Grace smiles at him.]

It feels like a home. I can tell that a lot of people love it here.

[She likes it even though it isn't her home.]

[Charles smiles fondly at the girl.]

We all have, Grace. That's right, and you are a very perceptive and caring girl. I'm happy to have met you.

We do our best. That's all I expect from any of you.

I will try my best.

[Grace curtsies again before looking up at Charles with a bright smile.]

I should find my father. Thank you for speaking with me.

[He inclines his head with a smile.]

It was quite a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Grace. I hope you find him well.
