VIDEO: Rec Room: September 1st

[Elena doesn’t usually use the video function on any phone but she assumed it’d be easier if those she spoke to knew what she looked like. Her hair is long and blond, her expression calm but guarded. She’s sitting at a table in the recreation room which is only obvious because the door to the pool can be seen behind her.]

Hello everyone. I was looking for volunteers and I figured it was best to take this chance to introduce myself. My name is Elena Michaels and like many others I arrived on the platform; though I’ve been here for about a month now.

[A pen twirls between her fingers as she continues.]

I’ve recently acquired a camera and I’m looking for models. I have at least one volunteer but more would really help. I’ll be in the Rec Room if you want to look at my photos before agreeing. Thank you.

[Elena flashes a charming smile before turning off her phone.]

ACTION: Rec Room or Cafeteria: September 6th - 14th

[She can be found in either the Rec Room or the Cafeteria for the next week with her new laptop placed in front of her. If she’s in the Cafeteria she’ll almost always have a cup of tea to her right which will slowly get cold as she forgets it’s there.

Elena is editing photos though she’ll stop if you decide to look over her shoulder. Her fingers move quickly over the mousepad as she changes the tint to the photos or fades around the edges. The subjects of her photos are mostly people, tastefully twisted and positioned so that the light shines off their bare skin. She doesn’t edit them, leaving their figures, flaws and emotions raw.

She wants to show the human form for what it is instead of the normal perception of beauty.]

[To those who’ve agreed, Elena has set up in a small room with lights, black back drops and other equipment. Some of it is on loan and she needs to get it back to the man at the pawn shop if she wants her money back. The only nice piece equipment that looks very nice and very new is a camera which is strung around her neck.

She flashes a professional smile at those who arrive and closes the door behind them.] Glad you could make it. I need you to strip down. I brought a robe for in between shoots in case you get cold.

[She doesn’t want goose bumps in her shots.]

[Elena’s tongue glides across her lips as she moves next to his side. Her fingers grip her camera so she can peer through the tinted lens. She can feel his arousal and it’s getting increasingly more difficult to ignore. He holds a sort of power in the room, something she can feel humming against her skin, it was intriguing but she didn’t know the cost of her own curiosity. Hasn’t she gotten herself into enough trouble? The answer to that would most likely be no.

Her current photo set includes his chest, his shoulders, and his arms and if she angles just a little lower- No. She’s trying hard not to think about it and the way her camera cuts her view helps. She exhales a slow breath annoyed at her body’s response to him.

She liked being in control.]

It sounds interesting. I find art fascinating for a similar reason but I’m not a collector. [Her voice is thick though she plays it off as normal, keeping the conversation cool and easy.] You should be careful what you say. I’ve been known to get sudden bursts of inspiration in the middle of the night. I don’t think you’d want me knocking at your door after 1 am.

[Maybe not the best thing to say considering their current position. Inspiration does strike when she finds that she’s unable to sleep but her words can easily have two meanings.]

[Pulse held still, letting himself relax as much as he could, unable to control how aroused he was getting. Every moment she was nearby, it was becoming more difficult to sustain position and control. She made him feel like there was an energy between them, and he felt bad about it, in a way. She had not asked for some guy to get aroused while she was working, and while Pulse could be an asshole, he didn't consider himself sexist or at all that kind of prick.

Still, he did his best to stay in position, and found himself puffing out a breath only after her last words. And his erection jumped in reaction.]

I cannot imagine a situation in which I wouldn't enjoy that. I don't sleep normal hours often.

Why is that?

[She does remember him saying that about his sleeping habits. Elena crouches down, putting herself at eye level of his erection though she focuses on her camera. She takes a few shots from beneath him and then moves to the adjacent side to get a few shots of his back. After about five minutes she stops and beings to remove the filter from her camera. She takes a few more shots before pausing and taking a small step closer.]

You're done. I have all the pictures I need for now. [She shrugs and takes a small step away from him. She can smell him and he probably doesn't know the effect it's having on her.] Until I'm inspired again.

Because I find being around you, and talking to you, both pleasant and fun. Because I think you are sexy as hell and wouldn't mind being around you, any time. Because I like your smile.

[Released, he turned to her, and stepped in, catching one hand of hers and lifting it to press a kiss to it.] Anytime, anywhere. I'm your man, Elena.

[He purrs the words, especially her name, and his eyes show the rather large amount of passion he is feeling as he lets go of her hand.]

[Elena is used to being complimented however there is one part of his description that stands out to her; her smile. Her gaze meets his and she feels the passion in his eyes as if it's a physical presence in the room, as if its in his breath as he presses a kiss to her hand.

She exhales a slow breath feeling warm spread through her frame.]

Do all the girls fall for that?

[She asks in a light tone though her eyes are daring. His passion reminds her of something and as much as she wants to touch it there is hesitation to do so. She knows herself well enough to know she'll fall into such a feeling and if it's anything like the last time she'll drown in it.]

[Pulse chuckles at her words, and shakes his head.] You'll have to tell me. This is the first time I've said that, Elena.

[And it was true. He had been sometimes flirtatious, sometimes roguish, but he hadn't made an offer like that before. To anyone.

And that was in his eyes as well.]

I have trouble believing that.

[She tries to keep her voice light but it's thick and a little husky. She can feel her own desires stirring in her chest: desire, passion, affection. She places her camera down and turns her shoulders to face Pulse.] I can't be the first girl's smile to catch your attention.

[Elena can tell that he means it and that feeling confuses her. She feels emotions stir in her chest and she pushes them away uncomfortably.]

You're a little hard to ignore too. [She's pointed keeping her gaze on his face and not allowing it to wander further south.]

I've liked women before, even loved them. I've hardly been chaste. But Rarely have I ever been... as effected by anyone as I am by you.

[She was electric, and he could feel a desire and attraction, but also felt maybe he was pushing, and he nodded, and stepped back.]

Perhaps we could discuss that over dinner? [He reached for his shorts.]

[Elena exhales as he reached for his shorts. She wants him but she's also thankful for the space. It helps her think.]

Dinner sounds great. [She flashes him a smile, her head tilting to the side.] Though you'll be the first model that I've agreed to go out with.

[Her tone is a little lighter though she's being completely serious. She prefers to keep professional work and personal interactions separate.]

[He slid into the shorts, breathing, even as it is a tight fit because some parts of him do not want to behave.]

We're in a different situation than I've ever been in before, and I imagine the same is true for you. I think new things are allowed.

[He gives her a smile, a warm one.] When are you free, oh beautiful artist?

[Elena laughs softly and slowly begins to put away some of the small, loss, pieces of her equipment. She can hear her heartbeat in her chest and the electricity has yet to ebb though she feels more at ease than she had a moment ago.]

I'm getting used to new things in this place.

[She feels herself returning his smile.]

I'm free most nights. [Being here has freed up her schedule a lot.] How about next week? [That'd give her time to figure out what to wear. She'd never been big on fashion and she's suddenly missing her best friend.]

Next week sounds perfect. [He smiled, at her, then turned, before stopping.] Thank you.

[Then he started away again, grinning widely, and bouncing in his step, eyes dancing with... hope.]

[Elena smiles.] You're welcome.

[She watches him go before she finishes packing up the rest of her equipment. She needs to return it and now go shopping.]
