The shield came down and then......nothing. Tony blinked for a moment and slowly sat up. A woman babbled at him for a moment and gave him some things, but Tony's focus was on the fact that he wasn't dead yet. Steve had meant to kill him. The idea made Tony freeze and start to shiver. He tried to take in a breath but found he couldn't. A panic attack, he recognized the signs. He started shaking more and he backed up until he hit a wall. He struggled to breath and take in something that would help calm him down, but it wasn't working and he was just getting more terrified.  "Pep..per," he managed, "sor..ry."

Grace had been standing near the door watching the platform with wide eyes and hopeful wonder. She prayed with all her heart that her father might be the next to appear on the platform but when it wasn't she'd feel her heart sink deeper into her chest.

The man who did appear didn't look well. She pushed away her own fears and pains and ran towards him.

"Are you alright?" Bright hazel eyes looked up at Tony as she knelt on the ground at his side. Her hood was pulled protectively around her head but that didn't obscure the concerned look of a very young girl.

Tony felt his chest loosen and he took in a few slow breaths. "I...panic attack...be careful armor is sparking and I don't want it to hurt you." He is suddenly reminded of Harley and he hopes someone from the Avengers takes care of the kid and doesn't mess with the financial situation he'd set up. "Name's Tony."

Grace sat perfectly still with her small hands resting lightly in her lap. She wanted Tony with a curious eye but said nothing in regards to his armour. She's never seen any armour like that before.

"Hello Tony. My name is Grace." She paused, her brows furrowing. "Are you worried? It's safe here. They've been taking care of me and I know they'll take care of you." She hoped that her words might ease his panic.
