Who: Amy Pond
What: Arrival
Where: Forest, around HQ
When: 01/10
Warnings: None
It wasn't the first time that Amy had opened her eyes to see trees and find herself lay on the ground. So if anyone saw her then they might wonder why she didn't scramble to her feet. Amy lay there, listening and trying to work out exactly what was around her. The trees and other plant life were easy. It was just that Amy didn't know why she was waking up in the dirt.
There was no party. At least Amy didn't remember a party. She remembered the library and books. Then heading out to her car and checking her backpack for everything. Not that she had any doubt it was in there. Going away for break...
So it was no big surprise that when she was found and everything explained to her she was still sat on the ground. It was familiar. Made the fox feel better.
After a while where she was she did finally make a move. She wasn't sure where she was going. Amy couldn't even claim to be following her nose anywhere particular.
[ooc: feel free to find her wandering about since she has no clue where to go exactly or where anything is]

As she moves through her regularly path through the forest she pauses, catching the scent of something, someone she didn't know. She turns and heads towards it slowly, her footfalls silent as she makes her approach. What she finds is a girl though the scent suggests something more. She moves into the clearing and while moving silently she makes her presence known, no point in trying to surprise the girl. Her brows furrow slightly as she speaks.
"I don't think I've seen you around." Or smelled her but Elena knew that you didn't say that to someone when you first meet them. "I'm Elena. Are you new?"

The sound of the voice with the new scent. There was something else about it that made Amy stop as she did. Not as people like as she sounded.
Finally Amy nodded. Too long being still was just as bad as running was a worrying thought that came to mind suddenly. "Yeah, I... have no idea where I am." She thought about giving any number of the names she'd got used to handing out randomly, any one of them would do. "I'm Amy." Because it was just as good as one of them. It didn't stand out. She had to hand it to her mother there. It was the most normal thing about her.

"You don't have to be alarmed. At least while down here we're safe." Ish but then Elena can't explain what's been happening around HQ. Those things that had attacked Gambit or what was happening the two days before that. It all didn't make sense.
"I'm from Toronto but in a different world or that's what I've been told."

There was a whole lot more questions and Amy's head was spinning. Safe. There were hunters still and other monsters. If they were down there then what was up? "Down here? What's not safe up there?" She weakly pointed directly up.
Other worlds. Nope. That could come later.

She didn't want to see anyone else get hurt.

And a sanctuary it certainly was. There was clean air, the enveloping and comforting scents of the forest, and prey. The wolf in him delighted in the idea, but he reminded himself he had to keep up appearances. That didn't mean he couldn't follow the scent of the fox he picked up, you know, just to get a look.
What he found was a surprise. It was a girl, but she was most definitely the source of the scent he's detected. He raised an eyebrow, deciding to step from the shadows rather than continue to stalk her.
"Nice night for it, huh?"

"Hello!"
