evercyclic[An older man with a sever expression appears on the feed after it initializes. He sits at what is most likely a work-table, and behind him, arrayed on shelves that reach beyond the line of sight of the camera are scales, crystals, and jars containing cloudy liquids of various colors.
The man doesn't look pleased as he eyes the feed, and when he speaks, his voice, with a hint of an Irish lilt, sounds carefully controlled.]
Rachel tells me some of you have expressed an interest in the magic of our world. [He takes a heavy breath and laces his fingers together in front of him on the table.] My name is Cairn, and if you want to learn magic, you have to talk to me. Now, I could go into the theories, algorithms, and formulas ad infinatum, but it would probably bore most of you to tears.
[He waves a hand indicating something off-screen.]
If you know where the offices are, mine isn't too hard to find. If you want to talk, knock. Your first challenge is getting the correct door.
