Rogue was used to strange things though she's never experienced anything exactly like this. She took it in stride even though anyone looking at her would get the impress of 'piss off'. She walked freely around HQ getting a feel for the place. She didn't pause until she reached the the rec room which had a lot of things crammed into a small space.

She stepped inside a smile teasing her lips. "What more could a gal want?" The words were mumbled beneath her breath as she took a lap around the rec room. They had everything here and she wasn't going to let a depressing situation ruin her fun.

She can be found playing a game of ping-pong against a wall. She would be happy to play with someone but the half table was convenient while she was alone. She also checked out a few of the old arcade games and eventually fell into a pinball game that was kicking her ass. She kicked the machine, careful of her strength, and swore beneath her breath. "Ain't that just kickin' me in the knees. Come on."

Later that evening Rogue can be found reading. She found a few interesting books and a comfortable chair to sit in at the far end of the rec room. She sat close to the pools entrance enjoying the distant echo of the room beyond the glass door.

"I ain' scared a' you." He watched those familiar hips sway for a moment before diverting his gaze to the tables they were approaching. Game, Remy. Focus on the game. This isn't your Anna, and even if she was, she's at least 10 years younger than you. Don't be a damn fool. "Never have been."

He raised an eyebrow as he caught the ball without watching it. That's skill, alright?

"Like what, exactly?"

He'd been doing it for years, hiding things from her, but she didn't need to know that. "Thought never even crossed my mind, chere."

He rolled his shoulder in a shrug. "Older, by my reckoning."

He shrugged in his usual way, and when he responded, while his words were serious, his tone was not.

"Some days feels longer than others, non? I'd say 'bout...10 years or so."

His smile broadened, both at her inspection, which he always enjoyed, and at her commentary. He bounced the ball against the tabletop, testing it as he replied.

"Better, if ya don' mind my sayin' so."

His cocky smile wavered somewhat at her comment and he tilted his head to the side curiously.

"Which change is dat, chere?"

He had a pretty good idea, but he wanted to hear it from her own lips.

"Come on, now, chere. Dis place ain' so bad." He motions around before taking off his coat and draping it across one of the chairs near by.

"Look around. We got food, water, rooms. Can't say I ain' been in worse places. How 'bout you?"

He smiled in response. Rogue was most definitely younger than he remembered, hasty, impatient.

"We wait, mon chere. We learn what we can learn 'bout dis place, an' we go from dere."

Remy couldn't stop the amused smile that spread across his face at her dismissal of the game. Like so many other things in life, if Rogue didn't want it, it wasn't happening. It just went to show, no matter what universe someone originated in, deep down, you were always the same. It was both a harrowing and comforting thought when you got right down to it.

"D'accord, mon chere. What next, den?"
