EVENT 1 - A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING
![]() |
Who; EVERYONE! What; The fearless leader of HQ has some information for a waiting crowd Where; Cafeteria When; August 2nd, 8:30pm - ?? Warnings; None as of yet, can be changed if content changes A text message will be sent to the phones of all new arrivals in HQ at 2am on the 2nd. The text message contains the following: "Greetings new arrivals! I'm certain all of you have dozens of questions and I'd very much like to answer them. If you would humor me, please meet me tomorrow evening at 9pm in the Cafeteria. It isn't the best location for a disclosure meeting, but I believe we all may fit. Until then, have a good evening." When everyone arrives to the cafeteria that night, they will find people who may or may not be familiar seated a table along the far wall near the bar. Luther, Nathan, Gus, and Airy are all present, as well as three faces they have yet to see. At the head of the table, an older man with a noble bearing and friendly smile watches as the new arrivals shuffle in. To his right is a striking woman who seems to be watching people arrive with an air of annoyance, and a younger man to his left who rarely looks up from the sketchbook in front of him. |
BEFORE THE MEETING
Kristen Kringle l OTA
Elena Micheals | OPEN
She steps over towards the left of the room, her heels clicking softly on the ground as she takes a position with her back against the wall. Her gaze remains guarded as she glances at those funneling inside of the small room.]
Let's hope this leads somewhere promising.
[Elena has only recently been acquainted with strange things and she isn't completely sure how to handle this scenario.]
no subject
It'll go somewhere, but if it ends up promising or not is another story entirely.
[ He sounded skeptical. ]
no subject
Your daughter is here with you?
[A light smile touches her lips.]
She's lucky to have you looking out for her.
no subject
She is. Her name is Grace.
[ Once again his gaze went elsewhere. That second statement wasn't as true in his mind as he wanted it to be. ]
It's more that I'm lucky to have her looking out for me, honestly.
no subject
[Elena turns towards Jefferson and offers him her hand. She doesn't know what it's like to have a child but she knows what it's like to depend on someone without them knowing it, she knows what it's like to want to protect someone and she can see all of these traits in him.]
I'm Elena.
no subject
[ But he was probably divulging more than she cared to hear and getting a little too sentimental to boot. She was stuck there just like he was, so being nice was okay. It wasn't people like her that he didn't trust, after all. He shook his head and positioned himself so his body was facing her before taking her hand shaking it politely. ]
The name's Jefferson. A pleasure to meet you, Elena.

Remy leBeau | OTA
He started setting up a game of Klondike, his personal favorite, without watching, instead casting a practiced casual eye over the others gathering in the dining hall.]
no subject
The smile adorning her lips brightens as she kneels in the seat across from Remy.]
Excuse me. What are you playing?
no subject
Solitaire, mon petite. You ever play?
no subject
I don't know any card games. Can you show me?
[She knows a few games but they mostly involve running around.]
I really like games.
no subject
Sho' nuff, petite. Come 'round de table an' I'll show ya.
[He reaches into his coat pocket, pulling out another unopened deck of cards.] I'll even give ya yo' own deck.
no subject
Are you sure you don't need it?
[She looks at the deck curiously, her eyes dancing with excitement.]

Allen Walker | Open
Until the time, Allen found himself wondering around, either stretching or in one case doing a handstand and doing some exercise. He had nothing better to do while waiting after all.]
Hermione Granger | OTA
She hated mysteries, and wanted more than anything to solve it, but didn't know where to turn. This was a tragic turn of events because she always knew everything.
Hermione and Harry
And if he startled her, well, he wasn't meaning to.
Re: Hermione and Harry
"Harry! Thank Merlin," Hermione breathed out, throwing herself at Harry, wrapping her arms tightly around him, and burying her face in his neck.
She didn't want to give too much thought as to why she wasn't just as glad to see Ron, but she wasn't.
"Are you alright?"
Hermione and Harry
He held on tight, not letting go, and grinned softly, just pulling her against him and wanting to smell and hear her.
"I am, now. I felt a little lost but... you're here, now, and I think I will be just fine." After all, what could possibly stop both of them?
Re: Hermione and Harry
"Have you been able to work out where we are?"
Hermione and Harry
He stroked her hair, holding her close, and smiled.
no subject
"Excuse me." She smiled up at Hermione.
It looked like something was off but it felt rude to just assume. She gathered her courage and asked. "Are you from here?"
no subject
"No.... most definitely not. How about you....?" She asked, trailing off some.
no subject
"No, I arrived just before papa did." She sounded very happy about that. "What are you reading? I didn't find any books here."
